The Nicholson Hotel makes an ideal base for boating on the Nicholson River and the Gippsland Lakes. The Nicholson River runs in to the Gippsland Lakes a short distance downstream. All destinations in the Gippsland Lakes are then reachable. Upstream the River becomes narrower as it winds its way up in to the hills.

 

A boat ramp and mooring area lies adjacent to the Hotel. Use the Hotel for meals, drinks and accommodation.
